Azimio blogger and MCA candidate Robert Alai fights with Senatorial Candidate Edwin Sifuna

Elsewhere, Azimio blogger and member of constituency assembly (MCA) contestant Robert Alai fought with party mate and senatorial candidate Edwin Sifuna during an Azimio rally.

The duo engaged in a physical altercation after Sifuna, the party's Secretary General and the MC at the event denied Alai an opportunity to address the crowd.

The fight began with a heated exchange of words before the duo locked hands in a violent confrontation, forcing Raila Odinga to intervene.

The Kileleshwa MCA aspirant is no stranger to physical altercations.

He will appear before Senior Principal Magistrate Monicah Maroro at Kibera law courts for allegedly assaulting gospel artist Alex Apoko alias Ringtone.

Bahati storms out of Raila's campaign after he endorses an opponent

It was drama after mathare Azimio contestant Kevin Bahati stormed out of Raila's campaign after he endorsed a rival.

Raila asked Mathare residents to vote for Anthony Oluoch who failed in the nominations. Instead, Raila promised Bahati a job in his administration if he wins the presidency.

Oluoch is the current MP for Mathare on ODM ticket.

The party had tried to deny Bahati nominations papers after he won, eliciting a media outburst from the gospel singer.

Alfred Mutua wants NCIC to Investigate Raila for Allegedly Inciting the Youth to Cause Election Violence

Machakos governor Alfred Mutua requested the The National Cohesion and Integration Commission (NCIC) of Kenya to investigate Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga for allegedly inciting the youth to cause election violence.

Mutua put Raila on spot over using the "Vijana Fire" slogan that he claims would spur hungry youths to commit violence.

"When a leader tells hungry, jobless, suffering and easy to manipulate youth, “Vijana Fire”, what is the message he is sending them? You only fire after taking aim and then pressing the trigger to shoot a fellow Kenyan," Mutua said.

Mutua said such coded utterances could trigger election violence.

"Election violence starts with such utterances and programming. As the saying goes in Swahili, 'Ukiona vyaelea, jua vyaundwa.' Telling youth fire is incitement and tantamount to hate speech and priming youth to violence."

Mutua comments were related to Raila's appearance in the song 'Fire' by Mathare's member of parliament aspirant Kevin Bahati.

Uhuru wants to continue ruling through Raila

Mutua has been making headlines since leaving Azimio.

He alleged that Raila required uhuru's permission to speak at rallies because the president was the chairman of the alliance.

"Raila has to ask Uhuru for permission to speak in Azimio meetings because Uhuru is the Chairman," he said. "The president wants to continue ruling through Raila."

Mutua assures Karua and Raila of their pension

Mutua also requested Raila and Karua to retire assuring them of their pension.

"Ruto has said that he will be sending elderly Kenyans money every month even before he pays civil servants their salaries," Mutua added. "Raila and Karua should go home assured that they will receive their stipend on time with other ageing people."

Police Officers raid William Ruto's ex-office after Suspicious Transfer of Computer Servers

Kenyan detectives raided William Ruto's former office over suspicious transfer of computer servers.

The equipment allegedly belonged to Lamstar Technologies and served a number of saccos.

"We were acting on reports to come here," Nairobi Police Commander James Muger told TV47. "We have taken two servers which will be analyzed by experts to tell us more on claims of the contents."

The staffers allegedly transferred the computer equipment at night raising suspicion over the contents during a sensitive electioneering period.

The office located at Nairobi Central Business District was a private space allegedly belonging to Ruto.

Such action will raise eyebrows given the vice president's tumultuous relationship with the outgoing president who endorsed Ruto's opponent Raila Odinga. Ruto and his supporters have accused the government of trying to impose Odinga as the next president.

William Ruto shares pictures of a mammoth crowd at a rally in Kapkatet

The endless crowd was waiting before he arrived.

"Full house! Current situation at Kapkatet, Kericho County before our arrival," the vice president tweeted.

However, his rivals' supporters accused him of editing the pictures to create the impression of massive attendance.
